Mostly because I want to kn...Why do I do genealogy? Mostly because I want to know. My paternal grandmother told me many family stories; I was fascinated but I didn't truly LISTEN. My mother told almost nothing about her family (although her sisters were somewhat more informative). Again I was fascinated but shallow in my attention.
