You can join the website through Google Friend Connect:

Google Friend Connect should automatically add this blog to Google Reader if you use Google Reader, however, if you don't use Google Reader or otherwise want more immediate updates on posts from this site, I suggest choosing one of the other methods above in addition to Google Friend Connect.

Lastly, if you use an RSS Reader other than Google Reader such as an RSS application on your desktop (Apple's Mail application provides RSS support for example), you can subscribe to the RSS Feed (feeds.feedburner.com/bloodandfrogs) directly.

I think that about covers the different ways to follow this blog. If you prefer a method I don't offer here, let me know and I'll see what I can do to support new methods.

Besides following the blog, you can also help others in your social network to find it. One way to do that is to press the Google +1 button here

  1. I find that using Google Friend Connect automatically adds the blog to Google Reader, which is what I've used for over a year to follow a variety of blogs. I've only just started using Google Friend Connect. Maybe it's different if you start with Google Friend Connect. For example, iGoogle is my home page and on it is a Google Reader gadget which lists my unread blogs. Of course, now that I've started to follow so many genealogy blogs, there's always something to read there.

  2. Thank you for pointing that out Elizabeth. I've updated the page to reflect that Google Friend Connect will add the blog to your Google Reader list.
